Needs From: City of Gulfport

Help us bring the sights, sounds, and flavors of Italy to life! Volunteers are needed over three days to assist with transforming the venue, welcoming guests, supporting the event, and returning the space to its original condition.

Thursday, October 22 – Setup Day
Help decorate the venue, arrange tables and chairs, set up linens and centerpieces, organize event materials, and prepare the reception, dining, and entertainment areas.

Saturday, October 24 – Event Day
Volunteers will assist with final preparations, guest check-in, welcoming and seating guests, VIP hospitality, food and beverage service, raffle or ticket sales, event support, and light cleanup throughout the evening.

Monday, October 26 – Cleanup Day
Help remove decorations, pack and organize supplies, clean event areas, and return the venue to its original setup.

This is a fun opportunity to work alongside other volunteers while helping create a memorable Italian evening in support of the Gulfport Senior  Foundation and the programs and services it funds. 

Join us for a special afternoon at the Catherine Hickman Theater as Nan Colton brings celebrated artist Georgia O’Keeffe to life in an immersive live performance.

Volunteers will help with event setup, guest check-in, ushering and seating, pre-show reception hospitality, merchandise or raffle sales, and post-event cleanup. Volunteers should be friendly, welcoming, and comfortable assisting guests throughout the theater.

Volunteers will help welcome guests, assist with check-in and seating, support VIP and general admission areas, sell raffle tickets, and help with event setup and cleanup. Enjoy an energetic evening as four local bands compete to become the “Battle of the Quarter” winner and advance to the grand finale, where the four quarterly champions will compete for the title of “Local Band of the Year!”

The 2026 Fall Health & Wellness Expo brings together trusted local organizations, healthcare providers and community resources all in one place, just in time for Medicare Open Enrollment.

We are seeking friendly, dependable volunteers to help make our Health & Wellness event a success! Volunteers may assist with setup, greeting and registering guests, directing attendees, supporting vendors and activities, serving refreshments, and cleanup.

Initial set up will be Thursday, October 8th from 10:00am- 4:00pm, then Day of Event needs Saturday, October 10th, then final clean up on Monday, October 12th, 10:00am.

The Gulfport Senior Center Foundation is in need of volunteers at Foundation special events. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Set Up & Breakdown, Greeters, Box Office, Food & Beverage Service, Ushers, etc. Volunteers will be assigned jobs based on interest and ability.
